Maruti Suzuki WagonR is a very popular entry-level hatchback in the Indian car market. This car is selling in India for almost 2 decades. Maruti Suzuki is planning something big this year, recently they have launched New Age Baleno, and also planning the facelift of Ertiga & XL6. 
Let us see what Maruti Suzuki updated in this New 2022 WagonR.

1. Dual Tone Exterior:- 

MS updated this car with a dual-tone roof which is looking good. ORVMs are also finished in black color which is looking quite good, alloys are also finished in some color. The color combination is like Magma Grey with a Black roof, Red with Black Roof, and so on with the respective colors.

2. Some Minor Changes:- 

Wagon-R gets black inserts in headlights, a darker front grille, and black alloy wheels. 

3. New Variant Lineup:- 

Maruti has taken the opportunity to rework the variant lineup, offered along with this update. they are offering a better configuration to the WagonR buyers and introducing a new fleet called Tour H3 for commercial buyers.
In addition to this, the VXI variant of WagonR also gets company fitted CNG option. And a newly introduced 1.2L Petrol Engine, which is only available in the ZXI trims only. This is the list of pricing of the new 2022 WagonR:-

6, 1.2 ZXI :- ₹ 6.00  lakhs
7, 1.2 ZXI AMT:- ₹ 6.50 lakhs
8, 1.2 ZXI+ :- ₹ 6.48 lakhs
9, 1.2 ZXI+ AMT :- ₹ 6.98 lakhs
10, 1.2 ZXI+ Dual Tone :- ₹ 6.60 lakhs

Revised Interior Colour Schemes:- 

The old theme of the interior is replaced by the new interior color theme of beige and dark grey melange. It also gets some new features such as Idle start-stop technology along with hill-hold assist The Smartplay infotainment system now comes with satellite navigation and connected car tech (also called "Suzuki connect"). 

New Engine 'Better Performance, Better Mileage':-

The smaller engine of the WagonR 1.0l engine was given the mileage of 25.19 kmpl with the AMT transmission. They have enhanced the mileage by 15% with this variant while the CNG variants are also giving the mileage of 35 km/kg which is quite enough.
Coming to the New and bigger 1.2 litre petrol engine Generating 88 BHP of power and a mileage of 24.43 kmpl with the AMT transmission. This is an enhancement of 19% as well.

Prices Updates:-

Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of the New WagonR 2022. The prices of WagonR is starting from 5.40 lacs for the LXI variant (base variant) and goes still 7.10 lacs for the ZXI+ Dual Tone Model.
