The Indian Automotive Industry did a healthy growth in the month of July 2021 backed up by solid sales numbers from the top 3 brands. Maruti Suzuki proved its dominance with their 8 cars in top 10 list but Hyundai & Tata have their only one car in top 10 list both the cars are SUVs. The top selling cars are:

1. Maruti Suzuki WagonR: 22,836 units.


Maruti Suzuki WagonR achieved the first position by the sales of 22836 units against the same period last year (July 2020) with the increase of 69%. The car offered with 1.0L & 1.2L petrol engines. Priced from ₹ 4,80,500 to ₹ 6,33,000 Ex-Showroom New Delhi.

2- Maruti Suzuki Swift: 18,434 units.


Maruti Suzuki Swift achieved the second position with the sales of 18,434 units in the month of July 2021 against the same period last year (July 2020) with the increase of 81.2%. The car offered with a 1.2L petrol engine makes 
power of 66kW & 113Nm torque. Priced from : ₹ 5,81,000 to 8,42,000 Ex-Showroom New Delhi.

3- Maruti Suzuki Baleno: 14,729 units.


Maruti Suzuki Baleno achieved the 3rd position. This is a  premium hatchback sold by Nexa (Maruti Suzuki premium outlets). Acheived the 3rd position with the sales of 14,729 units against the same period last year (July 2020) with the increase of 27.2%. The car offered with a 1.2L petrol engine makes 61kW power & 113Nm torque or a 1.2L hybrid petrol engine makes 66kW power & 113Nm torque.
